Located in the downtown North Station neighborhood, the Boxer Hotel (formerly The Bulfinch Hotel) stands just blocks from Faneuil Hall and the Financial District. In 2003 Cresset permitted a three-story addition to the existing six floors and the conversion to an 80-room hotel with a ground-floor restaurant and bar. This was a major renovation that included, foundation, underpinning, excavation for a basement and structural reinforcement of the existing six-story shell to receive the additional three floors.
