The 1850 | Boston

Formerly the Allied Bolt & Screw building, Cresset is converted the 90,000 sf of space into 60 residential loft units with 25,000 sf of commercial/retail on the first and ground floors. When fully completed, the development will include a second phase consisting of one new residential building with parking on the 33,000 sf parcel.

Cresset permitted the parcel with the Boston Redevelopment Authority to convert the upper floors of the industrial building into residential use, build a parking structure and an additional building, while retailing commercial space on the first floor. The renovation of the existing building was substantially completed in May 2008. Sell out of the first phase was completed in June of 2009.

In addition, there is a fully permitted second phase, which will allow for one level of below-grade parking for a future 6-story development of approximately 30,000 sf, which will occur as market conditions permit.
