The project involves the revitalization of a portion of Pleasant Street with the creation of a 4-story 44 unit multi-family residential development.
The site currently houses a light industrial use surrounded by parking and yard storage along the Pleasant Street frontage. Residential uses currently abut the property on 3 sides with the Charles River lying to the south. The site’s close proximity to Watertown Square and Main Street provides excellent access to retail establishments in the square and an array of bus routes to serve commuters. The proposed design takes advantage of the existing elevation change on the site to conceal the required parking from pedestrian view from Pleasant Street.
Cresset is completing the re-permitting and design development on behalf of the joint venture between Cresset and the owner who has held title on the property since the mid 1950’s.
